Everything with baby is going great! (minus my daily flu) Baby is healthy and slowly we are telling family and friends our exciting news. What was supposed to be a great weekend celebrating Gavin's second birthday quickly turned into a nightmare! Around 10:00 am on Sat. April 30th our first baby Elmo went missing and was nowhere to be found in Sterling Va. (not good especially when you have a hound dog) Saturday turned into Sunday and then Monday, no one was able to catch our furry baby. All we knew was that he kept being spotted so we knew he was alive. Monday night we had to leave to go back to Philadelphia definately the hardest thing we ever did going home without our baby. Tuesday no news, and terrible thunderstorms on the way. There was many tears shed, but luckily there was a light at the end of our tunnel. On Weds. May 3rd (my dad aka Mr. Williams' birthday) Matt got an email from our Craigslist ad (thanks for the suggestion Leah) that they found a Beagle in their garage. Our prayers were answered and it was Elmo. Four days on the run Elmo lost 4 pounds and had at least 40+ ticks all over him and $400+ later was how we started week 14. Week fourteen has been much better and I am even starting to feel better too! We want to say thank you for all of you who helped us and for all of your prayers. We are truly blessed Just in time to celebrate my first Mother's Day (well kind of)
Elmo and Matt reunion, what a great day!!!!
